About me
My passion in life is to create positive social change both big and small. It is the reason why I went to law school (twice), why I spent years lobbying to protect the environment and educational rights, and why I worked for multiple voting rights nonprofits. It’s what inspires me to teach aspiring attorneys to become outstanding legal writers and advocates. And it’s the reason I wake up every morning excited for another day of fulfilling work.
There’s little that excites me more than learning and sharing knowledge with others. While no subject is off topic, I am especially interested in law, politics, education, writing, and (amateur) astrophysics.
What keeps me busy
- I teach law students legal reasoning, research, writing, and lawyering skills at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, where I am a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor.
- I engage in community projects and have served on the boards of several community organizations
- I write and have authored a number of law review articles
- I enjoy reading, nature excursions, and improv theater
